Nordic TD Forum 2018 brought together Technical Directors, CG artists, producers, and technology leaders from across the Nordic region and beyond for three days of knowledge sharing, collaboration, and industry insight in Helsinki, Finland. The forum provided a unique platform for professionals to exchange experiences, discuss technical and production challenges, explore emerging technologies, and optimize workflows across animation, VFX, and digital content creation. The 2018 program featured presentations from leading studios including Pixar, Ubisoft, RodeoFX, MPC, Goodbye Kansas, and Important Looking Pirates, covering topics such as USD pipeline implementation, production workflows, scene management, simulation, environment creation, CG costume design, and independent filmmaking. Through presentations, roundtable discussions, and networking opportunities, the event reinforced its mission of fostering innovation, cross-border collaboration, and continuous learning within the Nordic CG community.
