Fredrikstad Animation Festival has invited four speakers from Denmark, Finland, Sweden and Norway to present their latest projects. And Sparre Production is one of them.

The forum is called New Nordic Animation and is put together in collaboration with different Nordic associations for animation: SAAVA – The Swedish Association for animation and VFX, ANIS – the Danish association for animation and Finnanimation, a non-profit organisation dedicated to the promotion of the Finnish animation industry. You can find it the program on Saturday 26 October 17:00 at Litteraturhuset i  Fredrikstad.

Fredrikstad Animation Festival is the oldest and largest of its kind in the Nordic region, dating back to 1994 and the festival Animerte Dager in Oslo, Norway. The annual festival now takes place each October in the town of Fredrikstad, outside of Oslo.

The festival is a professional arena for the animation industry, as well as an important event for students and educational institutions within animation, graphic design and digital media production. Each year, top animation industry professionals hold seminars and lectures, and the festival has previously hosted guests from famous studios such as Pixar, Disney and Aardman.
